Project TOGETHER actively contributed to the DRR Academy 2026, co-organised with sister projects and supported by the European Geosciences Union (EGU). The Academy took place between 11th and 13th of February 2026, hosted by the University of Salerno, Salerno, Italy.
The Academy received over 100 applications and welcomed around 50 participants, highlighting strong interest in advancing disaster risk reduction practice.
From a project perspective, TOGETHER used this opportunity to share its practical experience, methodological advances, and key insights. As project coordinator, NORSAR played a central role, with Research Engineer Chen Huang co-convening two thematic sessions.
Through these contributions, TOGETHER reinforced its commitment to capacity building, knowledge exchange, and the uptake of innovative risk management approaches across Europe.
