Demonstrations and Living Labs

TOGETHER brings together three Disaster Risk Management Innovation Hubs (DRMIHs) across Europe, each representing different regional characteristics and hazard challenges.

These diverse pilot sites provide a strong basis for the co-creation and evaluation of the TOGETHER Toolkit with a wide range of stakeholders. Through a series of local Living Labs that bring together public authorities, private actors, and civil society, the TOGETHER toolkit and outputs will be tested in near-real-life scenarios under different operational conditions.

The demonstrations will focus on high-priority, region- and hazard-specific use cases identified together with local stakeholders during the project’s preparation phase. Results from the three pilot sites will serve as reference examples for innovative, collaborative approaches to disaster risk management and governance, supporting wider promotion and uptake across Europe.

Building on the experience gained at its three pilot sites, TOGETHER will expand the use of the TOGETHER Toolkit to two Replication Sites:

These replication activities will demonstrate how the toolkit can be adapted to new contexts and challenges, while further opportunities for upscaling will be explored through the project’s exploitation plan and long-term roadmap.
